California Aggies Endowed Opportunity Award Scholarship Established at Texas A&M University

This Endowed Scholarship agreement was created by our California Aggie Moms’ Club and the Texas A&M Foundation to provide scholarships for California Aggies pursuing a degree from Texas A&M University in College Station. This is available to California residents and/or a student who is a dependent of an active-duty military member living in California due to current military orders to California. This scholarship will be managed through the Texas A&M Foundation’s Endowed Scholarship Program and will qualify toward the Competitive Scholarship waiver (Out-of-state students who receive $4K in Competitive Scholarships may be eligible for in-state tuition). Established in May of 2023, students may apply for this 4-year award when they apply to the university beginning in the 2024-25 school year.

In appreciation, our California Aggie Moms’ Club will be recognized by the Texas A&M Foundation in donor publications and as part of the donor honor roll. Our California Aggie Moms’ Club members will also have an opportunity to meet our scholarship award recipient at an annual on-campus celebration during Family Weekend in April.

A special thank you to Chancellor John Sharp and Tyson Voelkel, President of the Texas A&M Foundation, for their commitment to establishing this scholarship fund and to our California Aggies. Additional thanks to our California Aggie Moms’ Club Executive Board for their continued efforts and support of this significant achievement.

If you would like to donate to this fund you can donate here: or send checks, payable to Texas A&M Foundation, and include the scholarship account number 400-07453 on the memo line of the check. Keep in mind, all donations are tax-deductible and may be eligible for your company’s matching contributions program.
